Shane Whitlatch

    Chief Revenue Officer

    Shane Whitlatch joined Omnivore as Chief Revenue Officer in December 2020. In this role, he leads all aspects of revenue generation, from sales to partnerships. 

    He brings more than 20 years in working with fast-growth technology companies to gain and retain clients, develop new partnerships and elevate brand awareness. 

    Prior to Omnivore, Whitlatch was Senior Vice President of Sales at CynergisTek, a cybersecurity firm focused on the healthcare industry. He built and led CynergisTek’s business development and sales strategy, which encompassed client retention, new client acquisition, and repositioning the brand for new offerings and to expand into new markets. 

    Previously, Shane worked with Clearwater-based global privacy company FairWarning to create and lead the sales, customer success, partnership and integration departments. He joined the company as one of its first employees (9th) and worked with its largest and most sophisticated customers to develop solutions that delivered the greatest possible customer value. 

    Over a 13-year period, he played a key role in helping the company grow from less than 20 customers to a global client base of nearly 400.  He also helped diversify its client base to include over 100 financial services and emerging market customers.

    After FairWarning sold to Mainsail Partners in 2018, he was promoted to GM/Vice President of the company’s healthcare business. Shane created and led the initial Advisory Board, which allowed the company to work closely with senior executives from key healthcare organizations to develop and test new solutions and stay at the forefront of industry trends.

    Prior to that role, Shane was the 8th employee at OpenNetwork, an identity management and access control company. Shane successfully built the sales and business development functions, leading to growth that resulted in the sale of OpenNetwork to BMC Software. 

    Shane holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and Master in Business Administration in Entrepreneurship from the University of South Florida. He co-founded the Next Generation Entrepreneurship business education program to encourage entrepreneurial thinking and innovation in Pinellas County’s high school students.

    He splits his time between St. Petersburg, Florida and Hiawassee, Georgia. Outside of work, he tries to spend as much time being active outdoors with his wife and family as possible, and is an avid non-fiction reader.
